Tessa Prasuhn
Sibling Consultant
My name is Tessa Prasuhn and I am a recent graduate from the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto. As an older sibling to a sister with an intellectual disability, I have been involved in advocacy in the disability community from a young age, and have seen first hand the benefits of inclusion and importance of community involvement. I am excited to be involved as a sibling consultant in this project both to gain an understanding of how young adults with IDD can achieve a sense of belonging as well as to learn more about academic research methods.
