I am an advocate in the Autism Community and the founder of Ontario Developmental Disability Advocacy and Support Network, a grass-roots non-partisan advocacy organization that lobbies to improve the lives of individuals living with developmental disabilities in Ontario.
I have over 20 years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist. I also co-chair the Research and Family Engagement Committee and am a Family Leader at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. On the P2B project, I play not only the part of a collaborator but also as a family member as I have been navigating and advocating for my now adult son who lives with Autism and IDD. I hope to bridge the gap between research and knowledge translation in order to improve the lives of individuals and their families living with a disability.
