Tania Ruiz-Chapman

PhD Trainee

I am a PhD student in the Social Justice Education department at OISE. My work is rooted in critical disability studies, critical race studies and studies on migration. My doctoral work is concerned with unpacking the reflexive relationship of humanity, subjectivity and citizenship. I am excited to be part of the P2B team so that I can relate my expertise to theories and ideas of belonging. As well as acting as the PhD trainee for P2B, I work as a teaching assistant at the University of Toronto, for a disability studies course.
